On Tuesday, June 9 we’ll discuss Does Your News Choose You? on Bluesky at 12:00 Noon Pacific Time.
Do you remember when there were only three channels on TV, and you had to choose one to get your news? Now there might be hundreds of places where you could get news. But which are trustworthy? If you, like me, you still have questions about the reliability of news sources, this chat is for you. We do need to know which sources to trust. And now we also have to be concerned with algorithms. What you choose to like, read, and share can determine what the algorithm shows you.
Join us on BlueSky each Tuesday from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. Pacific Time for #DigiBlogChat. My partner for these chats is @LazBlazter. If you need to know how to participate, click here: How to Join #DigiBlogChat. P.S. Don’t forget to add the #DigiBlogChat hashtag!
NOTE THE TIME: 8pm UK, 9pm W Europe, 3pm ET, Noon PDT
